HR Manager – for an international engineering company with local DNA

Set the direction for our HR function

At our offices in Brabrand and Silkeborg, Denmark, you will join around 200 technically passionate colleagues. In the context of these local offices, you develop and implement the annual HR cycle with guidance from Corporate HR. In close cooperation with the HR Specialist, you drive every-day HR operationally, tactically and strategically in both locations.

Support the organization on an exciting growth journey

Reporting to our HR Director in Italy and to the Business Unit Manager in Denmark, you implement and translate the global HR strategy into local HR policies, processes and tools. You will work with corporate values, communication and continuous improvements within the HR area as head of this relatively new HR function.

This means that you get a pivotal role in supporting our management teams in organizational development, change management, organizational transitions and much more. You will also be responsible for developing staffing forecasts, creating a talent pipeline and recruiting the right people in a challenging job market. You will be the HR business partner of the local managers, going deep into the company processes, and you will be a bridge between the HQ in Italy and the local needs, being able to match the different necessities.

Furthermore, you will drive HR administration and work hands-on with staff disciplinary proceedings, contracts, salary reviews and reporting on key figures. Finally, you will be responsible for developing the HR Specialist and for managing the HR budget.

Independent HR professional with experience from a project-driven organization

To succeed in this position, it is important that you are motivated by working in close proximity to the business and can navigate among many stakeholders. You know how to balance strategic HR partnering with smooth HR processes and daily operations. With a distinct can-do-attitude, you thrive in a dynamic environment and are not thrown off balance when changes happen.

Moreover, you:

  • Hold around 6-8 years of broad experience within HR
  • Have experience working in a matrix organization with a double line of reporting
  • Have experience working in a well structured environment, measured with KPI, measuring performances and requesting reports
  • Have a good business understanding
  • Speak and write English and Danish effortlessly
