Student Assistant in Devices & Supply Chain Management

About the department

Sourcing Operations (SoOp) is the central purchasing area in Product Supply, responsible for inbound supply of a large number of materials going into productions worldwide. In Business Support we are a team of project and programme managers and business analysts delivering strategic, tactical and operational support to the business within Lean, Quality, IT, Training, Analytics, Strategy and Finance.

The position

We are currently looking for an ambitious Student Assistant with strong IT capabilities to support the team. Your role will be to support us with business improvements and support for the IT team. Additionally, your job will be to run selected reports to our stakeholders, while proactively seeking to improve our own processes, including standards, performance boards and meetings etc. Frequent transport between sites in Bagsværd and Hillerød can be expected.

  • Working hours: Approximately 16 hours (2 days) per week, with flexibility during exam periods
  • Start date: June 2019
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

Qualifications

You are currently studying the latter part of a Bachelor's or the first year of a Master's in a relevant degree within IT, Engineering or Supply Chain Management, and you achieve excellent results.

You are a positive, outgoing, curious person, you have a strong analytical mind-set and a systematic approach to your work. You know how to get to the core of complex problems and make them understandable for others. You have the ability to explore various possibilities and structure your own work. Furthermore, you possess good communication skills and are keen on coordinating and navigating between many stakeholders. You have a 'can-do' attitude towards tasks and problem solving, which allows you to tackle challenges presented to you with short notice. You are competent within IT and Microsoft Windows and can quickly become proficient in using new systems and applications.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently.
