In addition, do you want to be part of a company that leads the market in sustainable indoor living? Then the role as accountant could be the position you are looking for.

Your challenges

As we are busy with both operations and new projects, we need a new colleague to take up this position in our Front Office, which is part of our Global Finance function and the link between the businesses, our suppliers and more.

All accounting operations in the VELUX Group are handled by our six regional front offices, local customer service departments and our Shared Services Centre in India.

You can be involved in solving/supporting the following tasks:

  • Managing our global intercompany accounting set-up in SAP
  • Optimisation of business processes
  • Reconciliation of accounts with domestic and foreign group companies and various correspondence with these companies
  • Accounting of receipts and disbursements and financial accounting
  • Financial reconciliations, currency adjustments and interest calculations
  • Preparation of the basis for financial reporting of intercompany
  • Bookkeeping and reconciliation of supplier invoices
  • Support and control of our travel set-up
  • Maintenance of customer and vendor master data
  • Other ad hoc tasks.

Projects are handled in close collaboration with your energetic and talented colleagues.

Your qualifications

We expect that you have a relevant professional/technical background with practical experience in most aspects of financial records. Your experience can be collected over a number of years of practical work – or you may have acquired your experience from your time as an office trainee in an accounting department, and now you want to develop yourself and your professional skills further within the field of accounting.

It will be a plus if you have experience with SAP R/3 and are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel.

Competencies such as a positive mindset and a good eye for details are important. You are independent and have the ability to see the big picture. In addition, you thrive on having a busy schedule and enjoy juggling several different tasks at once, and at the same time, you take pride in completing your tasks within the agreed deadlines.

You have a structured and persistent approach to solving your tasks and are motivated by solving problems in close cooperation with colleagues from different cultures. 

As you will engage with colleagues and stakeholders throughout our organisation, excellent interpersonal skills are imperative. Fluency in Danish and English, both orally and in writing, is a prerequisite.
