Head of Retail Training, Retail Operations, EMEA


Retail Training is a part of the Retail Operations and Business Development team in our EMEA region which oversees more than 65 countries across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The Retail Training team delivers sales, product and a number of other trainings for Sales Associates and Store Managers across our markets.

Our new Head of Retail Training will lead a team of three Learning Content Developers and contribute to the continuous development of training concepts, materials and tools, knowledge and execution support through different training channels, i.e. face to face training, digital training and sales tools.

We are looking for a candidate who wants to join our journey and take active part in building and continuously developing our retail training, by working closely together with a competent team of Training Managers and Trainers in our sales organizations across EMEA markets.

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach the Retail Training team to deliver on plans for training content (digital and non-digital)
  • Design the structure and scope of educational materials and training programmes
  • Drive continuous development of developing digital training tools and learning path though our E-Learning Platform - LINK
  • Work closely with the Trainer Team and Sales Directors to ensure understanding of market needs for training
  • Interact with all levels of stakeholders to prioritize needs requests aligned with training and sales objectives
  • Develop plans for deliverables and follow-up continuously - this includes budget planning and follow-up
  • Ensure implementation of training through trainers, Regional Sales Managers and Store Managers in Train the Trainer structure
  • Follow-up on training completion and training impact on key KPIs to identify needs
  • Partner with cross functional teams to align materials with different business initiatives (e.g. IT, store concept development, merchandising, marketing etc.)
  • Act as an ambassador of the PANDORA Brand

Job Requirements:

  • Education or broad experience within training/learning and development field
  • +4 years Retail experience - shop floor experience is an advantage
  • Experience with digital training and train the trainer model is preferred
  • Experience with an international retail and/or wholesale brand
  • Experience as a corporate trainer or professional sales trainer working with performance-based sales training teams is a clear advantage

As we are a global company travel days can be expected.

Personal Competencies:

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish language skills are not a requirement
  • Cultural understanding of markets within Europe, Middle East and Africa an advantage
  • Active listening skills
  • Self-awareness
  • Customer service skills and service mind-set
  • Ability to drive changes with energy
  • Proactive, humble and ambitious attitude - and also a team player

IT Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of In-design, Photoshop and/or other computer graphics programs
  • Knowledge of E-Learning Systems (LMS and/or LCMS) is an advantage
