Your new role
On behalf of Haldor Topsoe, Hays is offered a role in the chemicals technology licensing sales department. You will join a strong sales team providing services to clients and partners worldwide within the syngas, methanol and fertilizer industries. The sales activities are conducted on a highly technical and international level in close collaboration with our regional offices. At Haldor Topsoe you work in an informal and ambitious environment collaborating with a strong network of specialists in the organization. You will be responsible for driving the technical sales with both current new clients and therefore maintaining and building long-term client relationships. In addition to this you will ensure timely and qualified service both technically and commercially to all clients, while communicating clients needs to the technology development team.
What you’ll need to succeed
The preferred candidate possesses an educational background within chemical or mechanical engineering. You possess a strong experience within technical sales and are ready to build further on those skills. You have a minimum of five years prior work with capital projects and have the understanding of chemical plants. In addition to this you have a strong drive and perseverance, are dynamic and outgoing whilst having excellent communication and negotiation skills. There will be approximately 40-60 travel days internationally a year.
