Job description:

The job is in Group Reporting and Accounting, which is a part of Group Finance. You will be working in an international environment with contact to colleagues in Europe, US and Asia.
Group Reporting and Accounting consist of 8 highly qualified and specialized professionals, and you will become part of an inspiring and dynamic department with a lot of opportunities to develop both your personal and professional skills. 
Group Reporting and Accounting handle many exciting and challenging tasks, why we need a student to assist us in our work. We handle consolidation and controlling of all PANDORAs subsidiaries, making monthly, quarterly and annual reports assuring figures are correct and in compliance with IFRS. Moreover, we solve a variety of ad hoc assignments for our subsidiaries and other functions in the Global Office acting as an active sparring partner. The plan is, that you will take part in tasks across all the areas.

Your areas of responsibilities:  

As a student assistant you will be supporting the Group Reporting and Accounting team in delivering and improving the monthly closing of figures with various analysis support in our closing of monthly figures and reporting to PANDORA’s management.
An important element in the job is to work proactively with finance and accounting related issues on both an aggregated and detailed level.

In this position you will definitely shape the future of your position and you can expect to elevate the following job assignments:

  • Monthly controlling tasks that includes analytical procedures to ensure correct numbers
  • Reconciliation, documentation and proof-reading of quarterly and annual reports
  • Processing and distribution of financial reports  
  • Maintain and improve Excel models used for monthly controlling
  • Various calculations and assistance in connection with accounting, controlling and projects
  • Ad hoc tasks.

What is needed to succeed: 

You are a top performer with excellent academic achievements. Preferably, you are in your final year of your bachelor or the first year of your master in finance related subjects, for example finance, economics, business administration or management accounting at e.g. CBS or University.

You have great analytical skills. You are a super user in Excel and your English, both written and spoken, is at a top level as you will work in an international environment. 

You go for ambitious goals, however, with a Business Partner mindset, both in your approach to tasks, but also in your communication with others, providing your internal customers with good service and solid insights.

Your personal qualifications makes a difference: 
You are a team player with drive and passion, fun and easy to cooperate with and you enjoy meeting and working with new people, while you are open for challenges. You have a winning personality, are sharp, curious, resilient and hardworking with an eager to develop both personal and professional skills.

Additional information:

PANDORA’s headquarter is located at Havneholmen in Copenhagen, which also will be your office location. A work week is expected to be approximately 20 hours corresponding to 2-3 working days. However, there will of course be flexibility for the period of exams.
