Procurement is a part of Group Procurement, Purchase & Agencies and the team is responsible for supplier relationships with top suppliers, contract negotiations, projects and processes relating to procurement.
You will be responsible for your own categories and suppliers as well as supporting the department with relevant data for negotiations, contract follow up, preparation for business reviews etc.
We have an efficient team supporting the business, you will oversee the full range of procurement tasks, not least, Procurement projects, contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, contract follow up, ad hoc negotiations and strategic sourcing.
You will investigate processes within our area to optimize the way we conduct end to end business with suppliers. We are on a path to incorporate quality data into the way we work to support and lead decision-making.
As our new Procurement Manager, you will report to the Head of Procurement.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supplier relationship management
- Category responsibility
- Contract Management
- Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and hold steering group meetings
- Report creation
- Data analysis
We are looking for an ambitious person who thrives in a dynamic and exciting work environment. You have a relevant theoretical background, such as BA or M.Sc. in Business Administration or in Economics, and your ability to work closely together with stakeholders internally and externally based on data to get the best solution reflects your strong analytical and communication skills.
- Procurement or supply chain experience
- A strong user of Microsoft Office
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proactive and stakeholder oriented
- Strong communication skills towards all stakeholders and external vendors
- Experience with negotiation of contracts and prices
- Good presentation skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Analytical & has a flair for business intelligence
- Results driven whilst remaining quality-oriented with an eye for detail and cost optimization
- Able to speak with data when proposing a solution
- Strong team player.
