Executive Assistant to VPs in Research & Technology, Copenhagen, Denmark
We are searching for an executive assistant to our research and technology division, primarily to support our VP of Regulatory Affairs & Product Safety and our VP of Production Strain Technology. The EA will play a key role that covers a varied mix of tasks with high strategic and operational importance to our research areas. You must be able to thrive in a world-class scientific environment while working across the organization with a broad variety of stakeholders and broad tasks of scientific, managerial and administrative nature.
Specifically, you will as EA deliver executive support to the VPs and their management teams. This includes preparing and coordinating management meetings, preparing internal and external presentations, driving the yearly cycles and support on various day-to-day administrative tasks as well as acting as project leader on relevant projects in the organizations. You will also support the broader research organization in coordinating large global internal scientific conferences as well as provide support to scientific contracts, consultants, outsourcing engagements and auditor reports on externally funded projects. You will support securing that the Research and Technology quality system is maintained and support quality audit processes. You will work with the rest of the R&D support team and participate in projects working proactively with many different areas of Novozymes to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization.
The position will be based in Bagsvaerd with some working days in Kgs. Lyngby.
In this position you need to have:
- An MSc degree in science, business or bio business, alternatively a bachelor level education or similar combined with 5+ years of work experience preferably in a science-related environment
- Experience with budgeting and/or accounting is considered a plus, alternatively, a proven flair for numbers and willingness to learn is an absolute must
- The ability to work effortlessly in both written and spoken English
- Ability to coordinate and manage projects and events
- Be structured, agile and have a ‘go do’ approach to things while managing own time and many stakeholders
- An ability to navigate a broad range of stakeholders across science and management and drive results in a positive and focused way
