Be the strategic sounding board
In this new position, you will be responsible for our sales and marketing activities globally as the coaching leader of our international sales team of 4.
“Your team is doing an amazing job. They are extremely dedicated and put in a lot of effort to succeed. That means you can focus on creating even more structure as well as strategies and action plans, as we are ready to take the next step in our growth journey,” explains Carsten.
Travel the world, make our success sprout
You will step onto an international playing field and quickly gain a wide, international network. Your new job will take you travelling 60+ days a year all over the world to enable sales, and you will also have some of your own key accounts to tend to.
Moreover, you will play a key role in strengthening our collaboration with global distributors and partners. Knowing the market, you will have the necessary overview and help pave the way as we take our sales to the next level.
”Working with niche products, your challenge will be to understand the products in-depth to make them stand out when you meet customers. You will meet many different kinds of people in a highly competitive market. We are selling a complete system to grow young plants, and some sectors in the market are conservative, so a sale can take a while. You have to think long-term," says Carsten.
People-person with technical sales experience
On a personal level, you excel at building trust and great relations – whether it be with huge professional greenhouses or small family businesses. You are convincing in your arguments and have the strategic mindset to manoeuvre in a highly competitive market. As a leader, you are motivational and enable your team through coaching and collaboration.
- You have solid experience with technical sales at an international level
- You have some management experience and are able to develop a sales organization
- You have a good technical understanding
- You speak and write English effortlessly
