Global Logistics Coordinator, Bagsværd, Denmark

We are looking for an experienced transport and logistics specialist to help us continuously improve customer satisfaction, internal optimization, and supporting the digitization of the logistics operation in Novozymes. This is a key position in our Global Logistics area, being part of Supply Chain Development. You will report to our Global Head of Logistics.

The Global Logistics Coordinator supports the improvement of the logistics flows and cost management processes and systems, to ensure customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and in general high performance of our logistics network. This is done in cooperation with our global Logistics Community, e.g. through the use of digital platforms. You will also be the main contact for supporting the organization with logistics related enquiries. You will participate and/or lead logistics projects, incl. sourcing projects and drive optimization and improvements through close contact with our logistics suppliers.

Within Novozymes, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders and internal partners within the Supply Chain, but also in the Sales Divisions, Finance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, etc. The position has a broad international scope and requires occasional meeting and travel activities outside normal working hours.
In this position you need to:

  • Have minimum 10 years’ operational experience from the international freight forwarding industry, preferably within multiple transport modes (truck, ocean, air)
  • Have strong analytical skills, experience working with large amounts of data, and present the same in a structured way
  • Be experienced using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be self-driven and capable of working in a high-speed project-driven organization
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to navigate in an international and multi-cultural working environment where English is an everyday language. Both English and Danish languages are required on negotiation level
