Your new role
On behalf of our client, Lundbeck, Hays is offering a unique opportunity to join a global pharmaceutical company as Senior Global Brand Manager. One will work in a global alliance with Otsuka and offered a strong growth and exciting challenges ahead as well as promising life-cycle management opportunities, this role impacts directly the future of one of Lundbeck’s most successful brands.
This is a unique opportunity to enter a role and act as a pioneer in developing and implementing key aspects of the global brand strategy and major alliance events as part of a highly motivated, performance-driven global brand team in a global alliance with Otsuka. You will be a trusted partner in the alliance with Otsuka translating key data and objectives into well-defined marketing strategies and insightful, objectively executed marketing activities. You will be an expert in beliefs and behaviors driving prescription behavior for brands in schizophrenia and other indications. You will collaborate with colleagues in Global Medical Affairs, Analysis, Pricing and Market Access, Global Customer Interaction Management and the global project team to enable deep market and customer understanding that drives current and future growth. One will be responsible for utilizing market- and customer insights in a concise and meaningful way to drive strategic/business decisions both at HQ and affiliate level and to provide commercial input to R&D in the global project team. In addition to this, you will ensure strong and fruitful relationships with the alliance partner, affiliate brand managers, marketing directors and managing directors, motivate and empower affiliates to secure execution of the global brand strategy.
You will play a pivotal role, directly influencing the creation of compelling communication through the development of aligned key messages, communication sequence and brand programs to implement the global brand strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you possess a Master’s degree in Science/Business or equivalent with 5+ years of experience within sales and marketing from the pharmaceutical industry at HQ level. In addition to this, you have CNS experience and advanced knowledge of all aspects of marketing from early-stage development to driving projects in collaboration with alliance partners, cross-functional teams and agencies.
You have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; a natural talent in catching and capturing your audience. Fluency in English is a must. On a personal level, you are an outgoing and distinct team player. You possess a sturdy, agile and mature mind-set and thrive in a fast-paced and science-driven, independent and ambitious environment.
