Job description and areas of responsibility:
The Pandora Consumer Insights team is part of our Business Development department. The team is responsible for delivering business-centric consumer insights to Pandora to drive performance globally. We work with a wide range of projects from strategic projects for the management team over on-going tracking of consumers and consumer testing of campaigns and products to providing insights for tactical decisions. The projects require a broad range of research methodologies, from quantitative and qualitative to fused.

As a Senior Consultant in Consumer Insights, your main focus will be on supporting Pandora’s Product and Merchandising functions with consumer insights on how to optimize and develop the product portfolio, mainly based on quantitative research and analysis. You will be exposed to a broad range of strategic issues across functions and through a high degree of responsibility, you will experience a steep learning curve. The projects will bring you close to key business decisions and you will deliver key insights for senior stakeholders.

You will work on all phases of research projects, covering the full development process, from the early idea and until ready for launch. The projects will mainly be based on quantitative analyses, including analysis of survey data, sales data, social listening etc.. Other of your main tasks will be to:

  • Lead research projects related to product/concept development - from early ideas to concepts that resonate with consumers and have great potential. For survey-based research the task include setup up of questionnaire, handover to data provider, managing the vendor, conducting analysis and presenting findings
  • Support Senior Manager in Consumer Insights on projects and on-going analysis, primarily related to product testing and forecasting

What is needed to succeed:
We are looking for a strong professional with 2-5 years of experience ideally from a research company or a similar role preferably in an FMCG/Retail/Consumer company. You possess strong quantitative analytical skills, an interest in turning consumer data and insights into strategic recommendations and experience in leading smaller research projects. In addition, we are looking for the following qualifications and experience:

  • Strong analytical capabilities based on solid quantitative skills
  • Superuser of Excel and experience with SPSS is a must, while experience or knowledge about coding in syntaxes “e.g. SPSS syntax“ would be a plus
  • Strong statistical understanding and experience with conducting simpler statistical analyses (e.g. factor analysis, multiple regression, significant tests, etc.)
  • Experience within quantitative and qualitative product innovation testing is a plus
  • Experience with building, setting up and executing surveys, quantitative analysis methods and different ways of gathering data
  • Experience in planning, scoping and leading smaller research projects and experience with managing research agencies and data panel providers is a plus
  • Speaks and writes English fluently.

This role is based in the Pandora Global Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Candidates should be willing to travel approximately 5-10 days a year.
