Outsourcing Professionals on different seniority levels to join clinical outsourcing management team

Are you motivated by the opportunity of being part of an ambitious clinical outsourcing team, working globally and across different functional areas? Do you have flair for contracting and supplier management? Then, you might be our new colleague ready to take part in our clinical development journey.

We are looking for Outsourcing Professionals and Senior Outsourcing Professionals to join us!

About the department

Outsourcing Management is a part of Global Development in Novo Nordisk, Søborg. The department drives the clinical contracting process for Novo Nordisk’s development projects. We are responsible for contracting and supplier management within the clinical area and for securing a strong clinical sourcing infrastructure. You will be part of a team of 21 dedicated colleagues where you will experience a high degree of individual responsibility in an engaging and professional environment.

We are currently expanding our team since we are taking on new tasks as well as strengthening our current areas of expertise.

In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics.

The position

As Outsourcing Professional or Senior Outsourcing Professional, you will be responsible for driving the clinical outsourcing process from request for proposal to signed contract in close collaboration with our clinical project teams, corporate procurement, legal and external suppliers. You will manage supplier relationships as well as supplier-related risks and take part in integrating the clinical outsourcing strategy in the development projects.

We are expanding our areas of expertise, such as preparation of request for proposals and specification of services and building up subject matter expertise for the outsourced services. A part of the role will be to shape the new responsibility and help ensuring we succeed on this journey.

Day to day operation is a varied mix of above responsibilities and includes a high degree of cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

As part of Global Development, the main office is in Søborg, Denmark, but there might be some travel activity.

Qualifications

You have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and insight in clinical development from outsourcing management or a position closely related to outsourcing within pharma or the clinical research organisation industry e.g. from trial management or data management. Experience with contract handling is considered an advantage but not a prerequisite.

You are motivated to step into a new position, where you will get the opportunity to shape and develop the role. You have good project management skills, flair for details and an interest in improving or simplifying processes. You are a team player and used to working in international and diverse professional groups, and you have a strong interest in business perspectives. The complexity of sourcing solutions often demands curiosity and an innovative mindset. Thinking creative and solution-oriented is, therefore, a key to succeeding.
