Its main customers include leading companies in the power generation (wind power), transportation (rail), building and general engineering sectors. In addition to its corporate headquarters and a plant in Denmark, the international company has two further locations in Eastern Europe and in China, as well as sales locations in the UK and USA. Healthy growth in the wind power market segment through structured market development, expansion of the global customer base and acquisition of new international key customers
Your main tasks will include the development and active implementation of a growth-oriented market strategy derived from the objectives as well as a corresponding product and marketing strategy, the preparation of a roadmap and a business plan with clear milestones for the long-term achievement of the set goals (business development), the planning and securing of sales revenue for the regions and key accounts as well as the realization of an appropriate profit margin. You will be responsible for developing and building business relationships with key customers, becoming a trusted leader in the industry and ensuring continuous market presence through regular, intensive customer communication. The position represents a key function for the future success of the company. The job holder is responsible for sales and results in the wind energy market segment, which accounts for more than half of total sales, directly leads an international team of three regional key account managers for Europe, America and China (Asia) and reports to the CEO.
Hands-on, international, execution-oriented sales personality from the wind power industry
We are looking for a hands-on "self-starter" personality with high momentum ("drive"), strong customer orientation and passion for selling technical products and services, who takes the initiative, thinks and acts entrepreneurially and takes responsibility. After your successful graduation in mechanical or industrial engineering or in technical business administration with relevant additional engineering training, you have gained broad, multi-year experience (> 5 years) in the wind power industry, either with OEMs directly or with Tier 1 suppliers. The ideal candidate (m/f/d) will have built and successfully expanded a strong, industry-relevant network in the wind power industry through extensive and multi-year experience in international technical sales. You have proven success in market development and customer management, building sustainable customer relationships and business development. Experience in motivation and leadership of international sales staff in medium-sized structures complete your profile. Knowledge in the relevant technologies with a focus on forming technology, machining technology or welded assemblies is an advantage.
