Logistics Manager

About the position

SOFACOMPANY is currently present in 8 European countries with more to come in the near future. As our Logistics Manager you will have a central role in building the right logistics setup for the steep growth journey of SOFACOMPANY. You will have a close working relationship with our Supply Chain Manager who has full ownership of all incoming goods until they land at the central warehouse. From that point on all warehousing operations and outbound will be under your responsibility. That includes our current central warehouse in Denmark as well as a future second warehouse south of Denmark (third party operated). Outbound includes our own delivery fleet in Denmark, as well as Linehaul to our European country hubs and parcel deliveries. Hence you will also have a close dialogue with our European country managers and / or their local logistics staff.


  • Ownership of operations at central DK warehouse in close dialogue with the Warehouse Manager
  • Project Lead for launching second warehousing operation south of Denmark (which will be operated by a third-party warehousing supplier)
  • Managing supplier of second warehouse, once it is up and running
  • Monitoring of inventory levels and stocking capacities at both warehouse locations
  • Availability planning in close cooperation with the Supply Chain Manager
  • Linehaul planning and forecasting
  • Close dialogue with Country Managers about linehaul capacities and local home delivery setup
  • First person of contact for international colleagues when it comes to topics/issues with deliveries from the warehouse to the countries
  • Continuous monitoring of warehousing and int. delivery efficiency, accuracy and cost
  • Investigating and setting up a long-term solution/setup to handle return shipments
  • Evaluating and optimizing current parcel shipment setup


  • Min. 2 years experience in a similar position within logistics
  • Team player and decision maker
  • Fluent in Danish & English
