Ap­pli­ca­tion Support Analyst

Are you experienced in vendor and business partner management, and do you have an avid interest in IT? Then, this is an excellent opportunity for you to join us in a role as an Application Support Analyst and be part of a remote IT team across Europe. In this role, you will be the single point of contact for our external vendors and internal customers concerning activities for our applications.

Your role

As an Application Support Analyst, you will support all activities around our applications and act as the link between external vendors and our business. Reporting directly to the European Applications Manager, the scope of the role is to support and manage our two main vendors in the Nordics for our applications and be responsible for the expectation management between the internal customers and external vendors. While adhering to IT policies and procedures and targeting the Operational Excellence model, you will also maintain the SOX compliance environment and initiatives. You will be working in applications such as IC2000 and XAL but could be extended to others. The Application Support Analyst role supports our internal application customers by resolving incidents or service interruptions and managing changes and its process. This role will identify key information necessary to resolve the internal customer's issues or requests through problem-solving and critical thinking.

Your responsibilities

  • To ensure adherence to all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
  • Maintain clear and open two ways communications between internal customer and external support vendors
  • Function as a single point of contact for internal and external partners in maintaining and changing the applications in scope
  • Setup governance/engagement model with Business Functions and external partners for Application Support/Development.
  • Own all tasks involved with Incident- Change- and Project Management for applications in scope, incl. regular reporting on status (internal/external).
  • Perform regular (monthly) and bi-yearly IT General Controls for applications in scope and function as Control Owner

Your skills and experiences

  • Experience from a similar IT support role or a general IT background
  • A university degree in IT or the equivalent vocational qualification
  • Financial and business acumen
  • Customer focus and ability to manage expectations
  • Solid communication and vendor management skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written business English is a prerequisite for this role; fluency in a Scandinavian language would be an advantage
