Job description:

Our Account Managers are key to generating and supporting the growth of our business across Denmark. As a Waters Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing customers and identifying and developing new accounts. We believe in delivering innovative technology and system solutions to our valued customers to enable their success. Our talented Account Managers have over the years delivered great and sustainable business results. Our Account Managers have a constant focus on growth and by developing new markets are able to grow our business even in challenging economic times.
As a successful Waters Account Manager you will demonstrate a clear grasp of the customers’ business and growth plans, as well as be able to take that knowledge and convert it into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”.
This position involves travel throughout the territory of responsibility and brings you a great degree of flexibility in how you manage your accounts and how you work in the field.

  • Approaching new and existing customers in diverse markets (Pharma, Biopharma, Chemical materials, Food, Environmental, Clinical, Academia),
  • Visiting regularly customers within the assigned territory,
  • Organising, delivering and following up seminars and workshops at customer sites,
  • Providing customers with high quality technical advice whilst maintaining a focus on maximising the sales potential,
  • Using related systems, e.g. CRM, Service Plan, Quotation system, with a keen mind on improvements and upgrades,
  • Formulating and successfully implementing business plans,
  • Planning and prioritising personal time and sales activities.

Required profile:

  • A degree in Analytical Chemistry or Biology with knowledge of Liquid Chromatography and Sample Preparation,
  • Experienced in solution selling
  • Highly passionate individual with charisma, perseverance and determination, plus the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations,
  • Customer focused with good level of listening skills,
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical & commercial values,
  • Proficient English Language Skills,
