Manager - Internal Sales & Support

What you will do

The Manager of Internal Sales & Customer Support will be responsible for and lead an internal sales and customer support team that focuses on parts sales, with employees in Denmark and remote locations across our global organization. The role is a commercial partner to the service director as part of the global leadership team and is an important contributor to achieving growth and development in our spare parts business, including the following focus areas:

  • Further digitization of our business processes, internally and externally oriented, with the goal of achieving a higher degree of automation and efficiency that will increase our organizational capacity, among other things, freeing up time for business development activities and growth.
  • Development of existing and new customer relationships, with the goal of maintaining and moving the customer's purchase process to routine purchases, through relationship building, frame agreements, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Data-driven approach with the creation of and easy access to sales data and KPIs that support operational excellence in our internal and external sales, including how we ensure high conversion rates and low response time.
  • Working on pricing to improve competitiveness and business profitability.
  • Ensuring a high level of cooperation between Internal Sales & Support, the business leaders, and our external sales team.

How you will do it

Internal Sales & Support provides support to our global organization, and the role works closely with stakeholders and peers in Denmark, global service teams, and external sales. Through excellent communication skills and a strong commercial foundation, you will support connecting the dots and contribute to stakeholder alignment, ensuring our organizations are pulling in the same direction.

You'll lead a team of individual contributors and will be responsible for the operation and development of your team by setting goals and plans that align with overall business goals. You'll coach and lead in-house and remote teams to deliver world-class customer service while achieving business goals using sales programs, methodologies, and tools. You will also implement and maintain best practices by setting the standards for high performance.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with others, coach, and motivate employees.
  • Solid background that match our industry, or equivalent commercial education combined with sales and business development experience.
  • Experience in a leadership role, demonstrating the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
  • Good commercial and business understanding.
  • The ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus and speed without losing direction.
  • Advantageous if you have worked in large international matrix organizations before.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
