Your responsibilities:

As an Area Sales Manager at Johnson Controls, you will be the forefront of driving our sales of Industrial refrigeration and heat pump solutions in the Zealand region. In this role, you will take personal leadership during the sales phase, effectively managing the technical and commercial aspects of the projects. This will involve conducting customer visits to understand their requirements, participating in project reviews to ensure successful outcomes, and providing expert advice on technical solutions. We therefore expects you to have a good understanding of the technical energy systems, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to customers.

Based at our Roskilde office, you will report directly to the Sales Manager in Denmark. In this collaborative and dynamic environment, you will have the support and resources needed to excel in your role, including access to a diverse product portfolio and a strong global network.

Your tasks:

  • Drive the pipeline and sales process
  • Driving sales of technical projects for industrial refrigeration and heat pump solutions
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Zealand region
  • Providing technical expertise and conducting needs assessments to assist customers in making informed solution choices
  • Creating and presenting proposal materials tailored to customer requirements
  • Collaborating with the service department to support existing service customers and ensure customer satisfaction

Who are you:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical background, and ideally combined with commercial sales experience or hands-on experience in selling/advising on technical solutions within the energy sector
  • The most important qualification is a technical mindset that enables you to understand, advise, and support your customers with regard to their technical needs
  • Effective negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English and Danish
  • Proficiency in the use of Office, calculation software, and CRM systems
