Service Project Manager (Global Marine & Offshore Service)
Job description:
At Johnson Controls, Global Marine & Offshore Service, we are currently looking for a new Service Project Manager to join our team in Holme, Aarhus. As a Service Project Manager, you will be responsible for both planning, overseeing and controlling Service projects within HVAC, fire suppression and fire detection, as well as CCTV solutions to our Marine and offshore customers.
You’ll join a team of dedicated and service minded engineers, who execute a high number of smaller service projects on operating ships and platforms all around the world.
How you will do it
By following our Operational Excellence Model to ensure we deliver a quality product to the right price, alongside top service and support that exceeds our customers’ expectations. We work in small project teams, and you will manage multiple projects at the same time, as well as having a consulting and supporting role towards our Service Sales Team regarding HVAC, fire detection and fire suppression solutions.
You will take full ownership of assigned projects, focusing on operational and financial performance and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Service Sales Team to identify opportunities for additional sales, ensuring project deliverables align with the agreed scope. Your hands-on approach and technical skillset will enable you to effectively navigate challenges during execution and ensure successful project outcomes.
What we are looking for
You are a service minded Project Manager, Engineer or experienced technician who is looking to move into Service Project Management.
- You are a structured and proactive communicator who is driven by results and true Customer Service
- You are comfortable doing system design and price calculations on the full scope incl. components, cabling and installation onboard ships and platforms.
- You possess the ability to effectively manage multiple smaller projects and, demonstrates quick decision-making skills without compromising our high service standards
- Drawing from your educational background in mechanical or electrical engineering, automation, or a related technical field, you are well-versed in handling complex technical products and systems
- Preferably, you have experience working with technically complex systems in areas such as HVAC, fire suppression, Fire detection or automation within the Marine industry
- You can communicate in English and preferably also Danish fluently
