Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to be part of our team. In this role, you will ensure the highest quality of our products, which primarily focus on server-side systems, rather than web or mobile applications. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work on testing new, interesting, and complex products from the ground up, collaborate closely with developers, start testing from scratch and write automation scripts, and come up with ideas to increase test coverage.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, documentation, and tracking of bugs throughout their lifecycle.
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies from project inception to delivery.
- Mentor teammates, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Initiate testing from scratch for new projects, ensuring thorough test coverage and robust quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for select projects, enabling seamless integration and continuous delivery.
- Plan, execute, and generate detailed test reports to maintain the highest standards of product quality.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of QA experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of QA principles and practices.
- Experience in initiating testing from scratch for new projects, with a focus on comprehensive test coverage.
- Proficiency in writing test automation scripts and script programming (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience implementing pipelines for project integration and delivery.
- Experience with the JIRA software stack and Test Management Systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on driving results.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience with different hypervisors.
- Familiarity with console-based applications.
- Knowledge of server operating systems.
