Job description:

At Johnson Controls in Aarhus, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our Industrial Refrigeration (IR) Product Technology Unit as a Software Developer.

Our Sales and Selection Tool Team is seeking a Software Developer with a background in software development and experience delivering consumer-facing applications. The Sales and Selection Tool Team is responsible for all aspects of developing and maintaining the tools used by the Industrial Cooling and Heating segment under the Sabroe brand.

As a Software Developer in the Sales and Selection Tool Team, you will interact with the entire organization, including product management, general engineering, and customers, to design and deliver optimal solutions while efficiently utilizing resources and technologies. The focus of this position is on an add-on for a new product segment. You will participate in all aspects of software development and be responsible for delivering a product that meets our customers' requirements. In our daily work, we use the following technologies: .NET/C#, WPF, Azure, and SQL Server.

How You Will Do It

  • Develop our user-friendly sales calculation tools (CPQ)
  • Take responsibility for front-end programming in our sales tool
  • Participate in concept development with sales and engineering teams
  • Understand and translate customers’ needs into technical requirements
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and administer our development environment/server setup

What We Look For

  • Experience with Azure Web Apps
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, and .NET Core
  • Knowledge of SQL and database design
  • Ability to implement user interfaces in WPF
  • Thrive in a large global organization
  • Strong communication skills and experience with end-user interaction (on-site)
  • Fluent in English
