Senior Quality Assurance Lead


About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Lead to join our team, at our Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility, in Glamsbjerg. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will have full responsibility for updated quality complaints, site audits, non-conformities, ensuring procedures, processes, work instructions are updated for our site to live up to Kerry standards, ISO 22000 and customer requirements.

This is an onsite, permanent and full-time position.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Quality:
    - Pass on implementation of procedures, new legalisation and customer requirements. - - - Safeguards compliance with procedures and requirements.
    - Oversee quality assurance across the manufacturing process.
  2. Conformity with internal and external standard:
    - Update documentation.
  3. Analysis & reporting:
    - Prepare key figures to stakeholders, monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions.
    - Support continuous improvement initiatives
  4. Complaints:
    - Root Cause Analysis (RCA), answer/investigation.
    - Correctness of documentation to customers.
  5. Non-conformities:
    - Assists with administration for Non-Conformance Report (NCR).
    - Coordinate deviations and follow up with preventive measures.
  6. Internal audits:
    - Participate and/or lead internal audits.
    - Follow up on internal audits.
    - Correctness and timeliness of audits.
  7. Provide leadership and support to the 2 team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering continued professional development.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Quality role, ideally in the food industry
  • Good knowledge of standards and food safety/production
  • Fluent in Danish and English
  • Microsoft office program skill (SAP experience will be advantage)
  • Capacity to take decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management.
