About the role
As Head of Partnerships & New Business Opportunities in Denmark, you will play a central role in shaping If’s partner strategy and driving growth through strong, strategic collaborations. You lead the Danish P&NBO unit and take full responsibility for establishing, developing, and expanding partnerships that place If at the heart of customers’ key life events.
In this role, you will guide your team in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing partner relationships, and building scalable frameworks that support long‑term growth. You will also work cross‑functionally with leaders and specialists across If to ensure alignment in strategy, execution, and market impact.
As part of the Nordic P&NBO management team, you contribute to the overall strategic development of the partnership business, while owning the direction and ambitions for the Danish market.
Your primary responsibilities include:

Identify, sign, and grow strategic partners in the Danish market to drive local and Nordic growth

Lead and develop the Danish P&NBO team, ensuring strong capabilities and future‑ready performance

Execute and refine the partnership framework to strengthen both existing and new collaborations

Drive vision and strategic direction as part of the Danish management team, ensuring strong anchoring across the organization

About the team
The unit Partnerships & New Business Opportunities is a key growth engine within the Private organization, responsible for building and expanding If’s strategic partner business.
We drive sales and lead generation through partnerships that play a central role in our customers’ major life events. We believe that partnerships and services will be a crucial differentiator in the insurance industry going forward – and in this role, you will be at the heart of that journey.
Today the team consists of 7 experienced employees divided into key competency areas such as partner management, business development and analytics.

You are an experienced and forward‑thinking leader who thrives in a role where strategy, commercial development, and strong partnerships come together. You bring a solid business mindset, the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, and the drive to build something that grows beyond today’s boundaries. You combine curiosity with structure, and you know how to turn new opportunities into concrete results — together with your team and through strong internal collaboration.
Your background has given you broad leadership experience, a deep understanding of business development, and the ability to anchor direction and enthusiasm across an organization. You are motivated by building and developing people, shaping new opportunities in the market, and driving long‑term growth.
In addition, you can recognize yourself in:

Master’s degree or equivalent higher education in business, engineering, or a related field

Proven leadership experience in strategy, business development or service development, ideally from a large organization or consulting environment

Strong change‑leadership capability, with the ability to motivate, build trust and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes

Curious, innovative and clear communicator, able to create alignment and engagement across teams
