Head of Group Finance – Interim
As Interim Head of Group Finance, you will take on a central leadership role in a period where the organisation continues to evolve and where processes and ways of working are being optimised. You will lead and support an engaged leadership team and play a key role in steering the continued development of our financial processes in line with the department’s ambitious goals.

Your role
In this position, you will report to our Group CFO and lead Group Finance, which comprises approximately 50 employees and a leadership team of five managers. Therefore, you must be able to be physically present at our headquarters in Hobro.
The position is an extended maternity cover for our current role holder and is expected to last around 18 months. To ensure continued stability in the leadership of Group Finance—and to maintain momentum in the many development initiatives already underway - we are looking for an experienced leader who can step in and take full responsibility for the period. Your key responsibilities will include, among others:
- Provide day-to-day leadership of managers across Group Finance, ensuring direction, clarity and execution during a period of change.
- Drive process optimisation and help strengthen financial workflows in Denmark and across Eurowind’s 16 markets.
- Lead collaboration with local finance functions in the 16 markets, and drive reporting, deadline compliance, and overall organisational overview globally.
- Act as a strategic sparring partner for managers and guide them in their work with people, systems and processes.
- Maintain and strengthen collaboration with external auditors in Denmark and internationally.
- Ensure high quality and consistency in financial deliverables, including reporting, consolidation and compliance across companies globally.
Your competencies
We are looking for a profile with a strong financial background combined with solid leadership experience. You have:
- A strong accounting and financial reporting foundation.
- Experience with group reporting and consolidation.
- Hands-on experience with IFRS.
- Leadership experience - ideally with experience leading leaders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both nationally and internationally.
- The ability to build trust, work proactively and navigate confidently in an organisation in development.
Although this is a fixed-term position, you will take on a key role with real influence, close collaboration with the leadership team, and the opportunity to shape Group Finance.
