Head of Product & Development
About Visiosign
We help organisations communicate better and work smarter globally.
Our SaaS platform gives customers a unified solution to manage communication across info screens, book meeting rooms, guide visitors with wayfinding, and run a digital guest reception — all connected and easy to operate.
Our customers include Novo Nordisk, Arla, Siemens, and many of the largest municipalities and universities across the Nordics. We have more than 400 customers with over 7,000 active licenses in production worldwide.
Visiosign is a brand unit of DNP — one of the world’s largest printing and technology groups, with more than 30,000 employees globally, but we work as a separate unit. We’re based in Karlslunde, 30 minutes from Copenhagen, and we’re scaling beyond the Nordics. Come join the journey.
About the role
You’ll own what we build — and lead the development team that gets us there.
You lead our development department and own the product at the same time: portfolio, roadmap and documentation, and you ensure stable product delivery. It’s not only about development — part of your job is making sure the rest of the business, sales and support, knows what’s being built and what our products can do, so we sell the right thing to our customers.
This is a product and leadership role, not a hands-on developer role — but you understand what’s being discussed in a development department. The deep technical expertise, architecture, and technical processes sit with our technical anchor, so you can focus on direction, prioritisation, and getting the team to deliver.
We decide together what gets built. But you own the translation and the prioritisation. You gather what the business needs — with feedback from customers, the market & the business — and what development and support see missing, whether that’s backend, frontend or anything else. You turn it into clear priorities, so the development team can get going easily, and we build what moves the business. And you drive the team towards a modern, professional development department.
You report directly to Rasmus Brushøj, our Business Unit Manager, and gradually take over strategic product responsibility as you find your feet.
Your responsibilities
Product
- Own the roadmap across the portfolio — signage, booking, reception, wayfinding and our Cloud platform.
- Decide what we build and in what order with the team, based on problem, market and business value: should we build this at all — and why now?
- Write clear product descriptions and requirements the team can build from.
Team and process
- Find ways to optimize the team to new heights — improve how we plan, prioritise and ship.
- Move the department towards modern development practice: predictable releases, quality and clear prioritisation.
- Talk development with the team as an equal, without having to write the code yourself.
Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of five full-time developers and two students.
- Work closely with our technical anchor, who owns architecture and the deep technical direction.
- Be the link between business and development.
Who you are
We care less about your title and more about what you’ve led.
- High ownership, low ego — measured by results, not presentations.
- A self-starter who thrives building from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
- A continuous learner.
You should have:
- Experience as a head of product or product manager in B2B SaaS — you’ve owned a product and a roadmap before.
- Leadership experience — you’ve run a development team and raised the bar on how work gets done.
- The ability to explain why a feature moves revenue or keeps customers from leaving — not just manage a board.
What sets you apart:
- You work with AI as a force multiplier — in product work and in development — rather than seeing it as a threat.
- You can sit down with a senior developer and debate a technical tradeoff without pretending you know more than you do — or less. And you can turn that conversation into a decision the business understands.
- You're a people person who can drive a team forward — but you still have the technical depth to hold your own in that same conversation.
This isn’t the role if you’d rather code all day yourself, or if your strength is administering tasks without understanding the customer and the business behind them.
